Crashing during export since Newburyport update.

Took the plunge this week and upgraded x3 to splat. Everything was working fine till latest update. I can run projects smoothly, and save, however, when I go to export a mix it gets like 99% done and then crashes. I guess the continuous updating software is a double edged sword, on one hand, it's great to get new features, on the other hand, I'll be crossing my fingers that I won't have problems with the latest and greatest update. I think from here on out I'll set a Windows restore point before doing the next update in case of issues like this...

I'm new to Spat, I didn't know that was possible. How do you do that?

If you used the CCC to install, open it, (with Sonar closed), and right click on the "Sonar" button.  You should have a list of at least two Sonar "versions".  If you just recently upgraded to SPlat, you should see Manchester and Newburyport.

Hit p, Configuration file, Dropout Msec, change from 250 to 500. see if that fixes it. I had a similair problem when I normaly bounce a file and, changing this hepled. its worth a try

Thanks for the tip, I'll try that. Ghosts in the machine decided to play nice again. I left the studio for a few hours yesterday, opened a couple of previous projects, exported no problem, went back to the problem child project and it exported fine. No idea what happened, not asking questions, hopefully it was a temporary glitch....
