Creating one stereo track from 2 separate mono tracks

Sonar X2, Producer...  recorded a choir using 2 Rode condensers.  Input to 2 separate tracks.  Now I need to combine them into one stereo track, but maintain the stereo separation inherent in the original 2-mic recording.  It seems when I "bounce tracks", the 2 mono tracks are being summed?  Anyway, the resultant individual stereo tracks are identical but should be different.

If that descrption makes any sense, I'd greatly appreciate your comments or suggestions.  I believe I once heard of the option of Exporting the 2 tracks to a stereo .wav, then importing it back in.  I guess that might work, but seems like Sonar might have a built-in solution.

Thank you

Oops, i goofed in orig post...   the "resultant" track (with left/right), NOT resultant stereo track(s) as I originally stated.

You can bounce them to a stereo track - just make sure you have the mono tracks panned hard left and right.  Otherwise they will do what apparently happened when you tried it.
