Crystal Sound Fusion (tm) CS4281 WDM Audio

I have installed Sonar 2.2 on my Computer. I have ME operating system and the above sound card. I can't get any sound and I was wondering if my sound card is compatable with this software. Thanking in advance

The soundcard may be compatible, but I don't know if Sonar 2.2 will run under Windows ME.

Check Options-Audio-Drivers. What do you have selected? Check the Windows mixer (the little speaker in the system tray) and see if anything is muted.

PCI card, or integrated on the motherboard?
ME is a lame duck (no offense to you - you're the victim) - option to move to Windows 2000?
Crystal chips are fairly common, used in many adapters - ME drivers may not be readliy found but W2K/XP WDM drivers should be available

    I can't get any sound

Try out different drivers in Sonar's audio options (ASIO, WDM, MME).

Just get away from that sound card as soon as you can....
    Prolly only MME would work..

Are you using a emachines PC(with the 600 Mhz Celeron chip in it) that was bought 4 years ago?

What kind of music are you making?
