Cubase Pro

FWIW, I switched to Cubase Pro when they announced the special cross grade offer.  I had been a Sonar / Cakewalk user for more than a decade.  I wish I'd switched sooner.  Cubase is great -- much more intuitive than Sonar, and many editing functions, clip stretching, quantization of audio, and so-on, work much better.  A total no-brainer for the two hundred bucks or so of the cross-grade price.

I made the switch to Cubase about a year ago and absolutely love it.

Im still using the 30 day demo. I even purchased a dongle! Quite impressed with it especially the midi capabilities. Ive been watching Daniel James using it and it is quite intuitive.
Im still going to use sonar until the day it croaks but at least I will be up and running with an alternative. Been with the Cakewalk boys since Pro Audio in 95 and Im gutted to whats happened to them. Great guys, great forum. But like they always say, it aint over till the pleasantly plump lady sings

Its nice to be important but its more important to be NICE :-)
