I thought this was going to be about magic mushrooms and stuff, which kinda indicates where my head is at right now.

But in answer to the actual question I'm prepared to take the short journey from Chez Bouy into Rye, a journey which of course you are familiar with now, for a weekly take-away or cafe visit.

The closest one is like 100 mi away.

We discovered it on a trip last year.

At least as far as Las Vegas ... so that would be about ... what ... 1200 miles or so from here?

As a wise Guy once stated from his holy chapala ... none of the hits, none of the time ... prevents you from becoming just another turkey in the middle of all the other turkeys!

I've been known to take a 2 hour drive for a Ruth's Chris Steak. Afterwards being too stuffed to drive home, got a hotel room in downtown Manhattan. About a $750 meal including the room. I've done
dumber things with my money, but I can't remember one right now.

So you didn't fall for the girl in the laundromat that said she'd play smoke on the water on her concertina and sit inside it if you climbed in first, for $1000 then?

Sometimes I think I'm the only gullible one here.

Sometimes, when Mooch sets a Bapu-trap, there's collateral damage.  If it's any consolation, I've been unable to get anybody to sit in my dryer all day.  I'm beginning to think they may not be convinced I can play the concertina.

Did I mention that it's rather cold in here?

Bapu only ever invests in quality.

He has an Alembic you know.

I did have $1000 now I just have the fond memories of the best version of smoke on the water I've ever heard.

I think I saw your password for your Yahoo account.  It's in this dryer.  For a modest fee, I'd be glad to play Cat Scratch Fever on this concertina while you climb in to look for it.
