    I purchased Wusikstation (the synth Manystation is based on) a month ago and I plan to make a big ass rompler out of it.

    I plan to purchase Manystation and UBK in the next couple of months, and there's another soundset names Vox'd that I really like. All these sounds can be loaded in both Wusikstation and Manystation. There must be over 3000 presets in total from different makers. The Wusikstation BIG Package alone comes with about 1500, but they're more electronic oriented, while Manystation has more acoustic stuff.

    If you already bought Manystation, check out other soundsets at www.wusik.com, especially Vox'd, Retro DS, and TSW.

    Yep, I have Manystation and it is very good...might be worth checking out the Manytone forum over at KvR though, as they are about to release a new synth which covers a lot of what Manystation does, but with a different engine at the core...although, as fac points out, buying Manystation gives you access to all the Wusikstation soundsets...

    I also have manystation and i like it alot, the guitar samples are really good, actually all the samples are really good.

    Interesting indeed.

    If ManyStation uses the same engine as WusikStation and can play the same samples, what exactly is the difference then? What would be the advantage of having both? Is this akin to SampleTank Vs. SonicSynth engines?

    I ask this because WusikStation is on my short list at the moment. Of course I don't need to be nudged far to get on board with an attractively priced and sanely copy-protected synth.

    here is the quick and dirty answer

    Manystation : Natural Instruments (guitars, strings cellos, etc...)
    Wusikstation : Synthy sounds

    So Sample Player vs. Sythesizer? Makes sense, although the KVR pages for both products define them as "Sampler/Workstation".

    well they both are sampler/workstations, its just one comes with samples of Natural instruments while the other has samples of synth sounds.

    The nice thing is since the WusikStation engine is now in Version2, it will come to ManyStation users for free.
