By default, audio clip start times use the "Musical' timebase so they'll remain aligned to M:B:T timeline when the tempo is changed, and it's not necessary to have them start at time zero to keep multiple tracks/clips in sync. Craig's suggested procedure might require that because he's using Fit to Time, but I'm not sure why he chose that method for changing to a known target tempo.
If your project has a single fixed tempo to which the tracks are already currently aligned and you know the target tempo, try this instead:
1. Select all audio tracks.
2. Open the Audiosnap palette and click the "Power" (enable) button.
3. Change the tempo in the transport module.
4. If you intend the change to be permanent, use Bounce to Clips(s) with the content-appropriate algorithm selected for each track in the Audiosnap options to render the stretching using higher quality "offline" algorithms.
