Cursor: how to get it back to ''left click'' to select a track ??....

I did something fast... Now unable to select a track normally with left click of the mouse.  If I split a track and want to move a selection, need to select it with right-click after clicking right to the section... Don't know what I have done to get in this situation.

Where's the option and/or how is it called ?

Thanks
Rob

S8.5 or X1?  this is the 8.5 and below forum, so I have to assume you are asking about 8.5.

click on the arrow icon in the toolbar.

in case you're asking about X1, click the middle mouse button and then click on the far left icon that pops up, or click on the far left "star" icon in the control bar.
