Cut or Delete Segments of Tracks

Sorry for the stupid question. How do I cut or delete the beginning 9 minutes out of a 2 hour track???
Thanks for your patience and help. I'm just learning Cakewalk Music Creator Ver. 2.

    If you want to cut time out of 1 track, the easiest way is to split the track and then delete.

    1. Put now time and right click where you want to split the track.
    2. I the pop-up window, select "Split Track"
    3. Right-click on the section that you want to delete, hit "Delete" in the box that pops up.



    If you've finished your song and want to cut out the first 9 minutes of everything bounce everything to a new track first. (Highlight all tracks, select FILE-->BOUNCE TO TRACK). Then follow the above steps on the newly created track.
