Cyclone and P5antom

In my "Cakewalk\Shared DXi" folder, I have folders for "Cyclone" and "P5antom". These folders have the .DLL files in them for the DXi instruments, as far as I can tell. I also have a "Cyclone" folder in my "VSTPlugins" folder.

The problem is, I don't seem to have Cyclone or P5antom (whatever that is) on my machine. I've rescanned the VSTPlugins folder, but Cyclone still doesn't appear as a VSTi to be installed. And it's not on the "excluded" list.

I went to re-install SONAR HS 6 XL, and neither of these DXi instruments is listed under the softsyths choices. Of the four that are listed there (DimPro, TTS-1, etc.), those are all installed and working properly.

I'm not too worried about Cyclone; I don't think I'd use it. P5antom is taking up 84MB of hard drive space, though, so I assume it must do something.

Any ideas?

It's the Roland GrooveSynth, if I recall correctly.  I can't address the Cyclone installation (as I'm selectively installing synths from various Cakewalk versions).  If you're not finding those on the Sonar 6 install disk, it may have been on another Cakewalk product.  There are some common folder structures in these products, and Project5 (for one) also installed that Roland 'emulator', along with Cyclone.

Well, I don't have any other Cakewalk products, and there's already a "GroovePlayer" folder and associated .DLL. I assume that's actually "GrooveSynth" (another DXi I don't use).

Actually, from what I found on Google (this post included), P5antom may indeed be "GrooveSynth". Sorry about that!

At any rate, Cyclone still doesn't show as an installed DXi or VST.
