DAW

I keep seeing this term DAW. What in the heck is that???

MC 5  Windows XP 32bit
AMD Athlon X2 245 2.91GHz Dual Core Processor
3.25 GB Ram
Creative Soundblaster Audigy 24 bit Soundcard
Cheap Mic (actually sounds decent)
Electric Violin

    Digital Audio Workstation.... also known as the recording software and the computer it's used on.

    just ask .... we're almost as bad a NASA for using acronyms round here.  We assume you know... or will ask.
