    Sheesh....

    Sheesh indeed.

Are you jumping to conclusions here? Do you know for fact that your post was deliberately deleted? Did you know it was a private forum and wasn't subject to freedom of speech clause and the moderators could in fact delete a post just 'cause they feel like it if they wish? Did you know that the mods tend to lock threads rather than delete here? Could there perhaps be another explanation for the disappearance of your post?

IIRC I contributed to that thread and there was nothing I remember being contentious about it, I'd suggest it may have gone missing during the forum maintenance that's been going down lately, rather than being part of your own conspiracy theory.

Perhaps you being a Cakewalk user since they were Twelve Tone makes you think that your posts are more valid than somebody else's contribution and you are being made a special case of for victimization.

I doubt either thing is true and there is a simple explanation for your posts disappearance, and if you want to guarantee to benefit from your own wisdom at a later date maybe you could save a back-up of your text just in case something 'happens' to one of your posts in future.

    Just a thought.

Or perhaps you just couldn't find it...

Twelve tones and on a good day I can normally find one.

Oh my the original post has gone now which makes my now out of context post look like I'm an unfeeling heartless grouch.

    Who knew?

You mean there are toms in a drumkit?

Are we talking the same drumkit that fits under your chin and gets plucked with a mallet here?

That will work, too.  When armed with a sturdy pair of sticks, drummers know that almost anything can become a percussion instrument.  Sure, other musicians may get a bit testy when you whack their favorite Steinway, or Alembic, or Les Paul, or Stratovarius.  They usually stop after you explore the percusive properties of their skulls.  Then, they just lay there next to the guitarist who told one too many drummer jokes.

It gets messy, so I usually try to limit myself to drums, but to each his own...
