Just a quick update so folks don't think I'm still squirming with this. I seem to have been able to manually repopulate the take lanes and I have successfully created my comps in both tracks. No crashes... just a couple dropouts while speed comping (which is normal in my experience with speedcomping in this behemoth project at lower latencies).
 
Anyway I would regale you with the rest of tale (not much to report but I should document it for reference) but feeling hungry and a little brainfried so for now thank you all so much. You have saved the Republic from the Sith Lord until the next episode DAW WARS (aka... Beepster is a Spazzo).
