D-PRO CANNOT REGISTER AFTER UPDATE (Solved)

Please, someone help me. What the crap did I do wrong? I installed the updates to everything in yellow then went to D-PRO and it asked me to register it again. Why? Either way it keeps telling me my registration is invalid. I copied it directly from the site. Then I tried typing it in with the same results. Yes, I'm frustrated. And yes, it's probably something I did wrong. I love this program but sometimes... I don't know... just wish it could was more simple. Plus during registration it asked me where to install it...INSTALL IT WHERE IT BELONGS I GUESS. Sorry folks, its late and I'm tired and got to go to bed for work. If anyone has any suggestion please let me know. It'll probably fix itself. Peace.

Just ran into the same problem.  Right click on the SONAR shortcut and select Run as Administrator.

I don't know if This will be of any help to you, but. It is too late for the advice I would give you, which would have been to not let anything touch your previous DimPro or Rapture installs, as I'm led to believe there isn't any 'real' updates apart from a new installer, I could be wrong.

I'm steering clear of it myself

Thank both of you gentlemen! I did run as administrator and after the second time it took. Copy and paste did not work. As always I appreciate all the help guys! Jeff I was tempted to abort the install after it asked for directions. Recipe for disaster. You all are the best!

Thanks for the reports everyone. We located an issue with the installer and have corrected it.

Note: this update is NOT really required if you already have Dimension Pro installed (unless you have a little bit of OCD and want green lights throughout).

More details on what we changed here: http://www.cakewalk.com/Support/Knowledge-Base/2007013416

(note: for this update to show up in Command Center 1.1 you will most likely need to go to the Settings Page and click [Check Now] since the default check for updates interval is set to 24 hours)

I had the same problem but remembered the "Run as Administrator" trick when reauthorizing and got it all working again.  Although I have Rapture Pro, which is really better than Dim Pro on steroids and loads all the same sounds and more, I still wanted the old faithful to be fully registered, even if I will likely never use it again.
