DUel Xeons

IS anyone running s3 on a duel xeon sytem?

If so have you run into any issues of any kind.....


I'll be building a new workstation for animation, and am hoping also that sonar will benifit hugely from this update, The machine is primarily for animation, so if there are issues with sonar thats no biggy, but it certainly would be nice to move sonar to it as well..

    I'm running dual xeons on a supermicro x5dal-g. The only problem I've had is when I try to install more than 2gig of ram - my sound(card), an echo mona, seems to wig out. I haven't narrowed it down to a sonar problem yet (no time, so I just yanked the additional ram); so I could be a sound card driver issue. Other than that, it's been pretty smooth sailing.

    I would love to see that as well if possible damoy, and thanks for the heads up on your possible sound card quirks, I would most likely be putting in a Echo mia midi. So I thank you for that point alone. Ill hafta give echo a call...

    damoy , those Supermicro boards are sweet aren't they ? I'll never use anything but Supermicro again on my pc's .
