DXi omits some notes...

Dudes:

I have an AKAI sample CD loaded in VSampler and working as a DXi. I posted earlier that I wasn't getting audio on the destination track. I am now - but not all the audio!

Not all the MIDI source notes have been converted. I've got a partial riff in audio, then a couple of notes missing, then some more notes, and so on.

The audio was placed almost a full measure later than the start time of the MIDI data so my guess is this is a performance issue - anyone seen it before?

Thanks - rev

Are you sure it is not a range issue.

I'm not familiar with VSampler, but the samples in Kompakt, for example, will provide only a specific range of notes when loading a particular instrument sample. If you program notes outside the range, they will not sound.

    Dach:

    That was it.

I thought I'd checked it but when I looked again I found that my A1 in the source data was not the same pitch as the A1 on the sampler keyboard.
