Axel Braun - backing vocals

Tom Wilson - vocals, guitars, bass

Any comments are as always highly appreciated!

Come visit MFingTennesee.  Hilarious. :)  Great song, driving groove, very Bowie-esque lead vocal, and funny lyrics.  I love the rhythm driving the song forward.  But I'd like to hear more lead guitar/synth, background vocals, etc.  If they can't come up any then maybe the drums/rhythm might have to come down a SMALL bit to make room.

MFingLove this! :)  I bet this song is great fun to play live, and is very popular with your fans at gigs.

This is brilliant work, and the Bowie reference is right on.  Congratulations on a good mix and performance from the band.

I agree with above comments, very creative and funny jam/song. Walt is right on the lead guitar and synth or bringing down the drums and rhythm a bit. One way or another it will bring this song full circle. Nice one and keep having fun.

    Dear Chas,

thanks a lot - I mean, this is coming from the "money" guy, the guy who will outplay Lady Gaga! Thanks a lot!

    Dear Walt,

thanks for listening! It's funny, you're the secong guy from this forum who is claiming that my vocals are Bowie-esque - I mean, I always adored him, but I was never aware that he is apparently such a big influence. But I won't complain about that! Regarding the drums, I agree that the are definately on the louder side, but I kind of like them this way. But I will keep this in mind with my next songs not to go too crazy about the drums!

With Live-gigs, we often place this song after a bunch of mid-tempo, very poppy songs, just to mfing spice things up! And after that, things just go wilder and crazier...I am glad you like it!

    Dear Lynn,

thank you for listening. So you think the Bowie reference is correct - I guess if so many music lovers and experts agree on this, they must have a point! I am proud to have seen Bowie twice live, and I wouldn't mind to see him a third time...

    Dear John,

thanks for your listen and commenting. What can I say, I like my drums loud or even louder, and oddly enough, I am no drummer! But again, I will of course take your advices into consideration with the new projects!

    Dear Sven,

thanks a lot! I am glad you like the song and that you like the production. I must admit, with all humbleness, that I quite happy with the sound - I am relatively new to music production (though a musician for decades), but I believe the productions are getting better, but needless to say, there is a lot of room for improvements. So comments like yours are very incouraging and inspire me to go ahead and make more music. So - a big thank you to you

Yeah man, This is great! It reminds me of "Tin Machine" a band Bowie had for awhile. The guitars sound great! Pass that along to the guitar player if you don't mind.

    Dear Freddy,

thanks for listening and commenting. Glad you like the lyrics - I wasn't too sure if they would work, as English is only my second language. So thank you

    Dear Clint,

a special thanks to you, because you made me take a closer look at Tin Machine - I must admit that I almost forgot about this "phase" of Bowie. At that time, I was heavy into Grunge anyway...but they were great! So you made me re-discover some great music! And I will pass the compliment on to Andi, our guitar player, today at the rehearsal. He is not only a great guitar player, but also a fantastic friend, I am glad to have him in the band!

    Dear Robby,

thanks for listening and commenting. Cool that you like the drums, I purchased Superior Drummer four months ago, and after some struggeling, I believe I am getting close to the sound I would love to have with the Rock'n'Roll productions. Dallas Tennessee is a fictional city - after writing this song, I googled and it appears that there used to be a Dallas in Tennessee some time ago, but now it is a ghost town. We should maybe doa video there!

    Dude Ivey
The drums are Awesome in this mix!!!

Thanks Dude. As I can see in your avatar, you seem to like rock music, so if a rocker like you is giving a thumbs up on the drums, I am on the right path!
