    is the profanity necessary?

if your download link is missing from your e-store account for X1 then you'll have to contact Customer Service.  1-888-CAKEWALK

An effective gentle way of expressing the huge frustration felt.  I would hardly call it profanity.  Quite easily offended you are and I have about 2 to 3 weeks of reinstallation, reactivation, and hopefully not any major loss of value to proceed through, and it's affecting my livelyhood. And living in Florida, the lightning capital of the world this has happened all to often and any type of unnecesarry delay such as a missing download link, I am afraid will effect my income and I'm quite amazed you would find that mild expression offensive, but to each their own I guess.  I'm sorry if it caused you any discomfort and be careful the poems, movies, lyrics etc etc you view and listen to with some "profanity" much much more harsh, used for effect. I find your attempt to "censor" me much more offensive than the mild word I chose for effect. On the other hand thank you so much for you help.

    Sincerely,
    Dan Hollars

you agreed not to use profanity when you signed up for the forum.  it was merely a question of "was it necessary"?  There was no attempt on my part to censor you.  that's done by the moderators if they see fit.

    have a nice day.

    Dan,
As suggested you are probably going to have to phone in tomorrow.

The good news is that Cakewalk says the phone support team is running smooth and has a quick response time this season.

Give it try and let us know how it works out.

     Good Luck!

     best regards,
    mike
