Your tune is very melodic and is well played and mixed. That being said, it breaks no new ground as there are dozens of synth songs that riff over an Am-F-G chord progression to a generic background. A bit more song structure would help elevate this to the next level.

I agree with Lynn. Well played, sounds well mixed too. This is the thing with songs...who knows where they are supposed to go. Do they all need choruses? Sometimes I feel like I'm getting to the point where my music is my experience and if you want to come along for the ride, cool. If you just want to be entertained, skip tracks 3-9....I dunno, that's just where my headspace is at these days.

not sure how to classify this song, but i like it so the exact genre does not matter to me. Even better, it inspires me to play around with various vintage synth emulators more for my own projects.

This tune is mind frame dependant, I understand Lynn's comment however. Pleasant enough touch of Rick Wakeman in the synth sound and style. Needs to be longer and develop more. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks everyone =) I know it doesn't have a bunch of changes to it, chorus, etc... You should hear some of my others songs on Soundcloud if you like hearing more changes in songs =) For instance: Vintage, Metropolis, Transition, Parsec, and especially The Passage. "Parsec" is in a link on the right side of my main SC page, as it's under KV331synthmaster's tracks and not my own, and is a demo for their synth.

That creamy lead is da bomb. Agree with the others: either you are in the mood for this type of piece or you are not.
