Deadline...could use some ears on this

Hello Gang, Almost done this one...and need a fresh perspective. Would appreciate any ears you can lend and resulting feedback. Sonics, arrangement...anything you think would be greatly appreciated https://soundcloud.com/tonehook/take-a-bite-1 Thanks very much

    Hi Thal,

Well, since you asked for a critical ear...

    ...nope, I got nothing..

Sounds terrific to me, really. I like the idea of using clean, bluesy guitar licks in a song like this, to me that's a nice blend of styles. Radio ready, I'd say.

Well, as anti rap as I am, i must say that I like the element that you added with the guitar.

When the song started I was reminded of 'Right Round.' Sort of different for a rap as far as the guitar. Enjoyed the listen.

OMG man, take this off of soundcloud, youtube and anywhere else you may have it published and go out there and sell it. One of the things I have learned about this industry is nobody will touch you if you self-publish. This is among the best hip hop I have heard in ages. Next time I hear a song from you, I want it to be on the radio, not here.

Thanks everyone for the great feedback. Still a little polish left. Re Rap. It took me a long time to warm up to this style of music...then I met this young artist.(who sings on this track and wrote the lyrics) and I could see in his eyes that he was real...and this was his art form. He devotes so much hard work and time on his craft. I knew this kid was pure...I had to be involved on a track. I wrote the backing track and wanted it to be organic with real guitars and a different feel than most other Hip Hop Rap... The lyrics aren't your typical gang rap...its inspirational, rhythmic and inspiring. It has been a great exercise, and opened my mind to the diversity in our art and music. Thanks again for the inspiring and helpful comments.
