doing the final mix tonight, having it professionally mastered, will post a new link when it's ready.
most folks wont hear much of a difference, i'm doing a bit hotter mix on the key solos, and a db or so more on the vox overall, and then it's fork time.

and "Lazy" was actually the 2nd purple song i learned when i was starting out on guitar, of course, smoke on the water being the first.
it was the gateway drug.

i don't typically do covers, so i'd say "No", probably not gonna do a lazy cover.
this one was for fun...
and my first go at using sonar, back when i first got into it.
i did a mix then....
and came back to revisit it now, with better mixing chops.

Gheeesh, Rob, could you be any better? Nevermind, I know your humble answer. This is just bonkers. You know that it is usually after hearing you play that I decide to go back and warehouse parts. Or....do you give me inspiration? Well, it's both. Just a totally awesome job all around. I don't really know which version is better, yours or theirs. I haven't heard theirs for many years. This one works for me!!
