Oh no you di-an't? I love it, I need it. I love her, I need her.... "Epic" classic rock. And true to the original in every detail. If one man can say this to another in a non-"well you know?" manner? Wow, your organ is incredible! LOL! This is amazing on every level, I won't go in to all of the drewling details. Just incredible. Better than the original IMO.

My all time favorite band! Very well done! The organ solo could come up just a bit. Maybe 2db? Great vox!!!

Great! I love DP from way back in the day..... I'd love to hear the drums a bit better and especially the snare smack. Aside from the few (very few nits) If I didn't know this was you.... it could easily be mistaken for DP and the boys.....

the band19 yes, i did. i don't know about 'true to every detail', but the gist of it was an honest read. so, thanks! i mean, you know, doing this kind of stuff, i just a labor of love... xeno did nail the keyboard parts.. i kinda winged it on the guitars, half from memory, half from actually playing along a few times before going for it. i actually tried the original 'solo' note for note, which is a peculiar choice of harmony notes at best from mr blackmore, and it just did not every sound right to me, it's one of blackmore's idiosyncrasies that makes it so unique, i couldn't do it. so i made up my own harmonies, and most folks just plain miss that. so, not accurate, but definitely full of piss and vinegar.

BAYOU up organ solo, check! actually, i took stuff DOWN around the solo, but i'll tweak it a bit more thanks for listening markno999 keys up, check. this 2nd mix really cranked the organ up over the first one, i think it's mostly there, but there are a few spots where i need to automate the mix and bring it up and down... when you study the original mix, it's quite a lesson in riding sections of the songs to expose or pull back all the parts at different times. there is a LOT less sustain on Blackmore's guitar, for example, than it seems at first blush. it become real apparent, when he hits certain chords, and the sound just dies out, it almost mixes itself. iv'e got about twice the gain on my parts that he used, i prefer his less gainy method.

janet thanks so much. you know, this song, it sits around for years and years in your head.... practically everybody has heard it, or even played it at one time or another... so it's kinda weird covering one that's so well known.... i don't do many covers. clintmartin thank you clint, appreciate that.
