Default Sound on Sound preference for all projects

I prefer to always use "Sound on Sound" recording mode for all new projects, but I do not find a preference for this, only within each project.
All new projects start with preference "Comping".
How to leave "Sound on Sound" default for all projects?

    Per-Project settings are stored in project templates. Modify the template(s) used for new projects. Existing projects will have to be modified individually.
