Default fader levels???

Is there a setting anywhere where I can change the default level of the faders? Not a huge gripe but I ALWAYS without fail turn them down immediately, it would be nice to set them to maybe -10 and save the repetition. I know I can just make a template but I dont always use a template if I am just jamming around ideas etc.

    You can use quickgroup .
Select all tracks, hold down ctrl an adjust one fader. All faders will then follow.
But of course you need to do this with every project, so I guess that this isn't  a good solution for you...

Yup Roger, I know about that already but thanks for taking the time to reply. The time when its a bit of a PITA is for example I get a groove going on some drums, add a bass part, then pick up my guitar add an audio track and blow my ear drums out haha

I just want to know if its possible to change the default, I appreciate you are trying to help, I know the workarounds I just feel it would be nice if I didn't have to use them. Like I said in my first post its a minor gripe I am more curious if its possible than anything.

Since you can add a track template just about as easily as you can add a track, I don't think it's a workaround but just the way you add a non-default track to SONAR.

But the guitar was just one example, it would be nice to have it default to something else on all tracks that would mean making a track template for every VSTi I own which would take some time. If it can't be done I aint gonna lose sleep, just wanted to know if it can be done.
