[Defined] Verbose Installation

In the Command Center I see the option of a "verbose" installation. What does this mean? and are there any advantages to re-install Sonar using this option?
All references that I've googled, seem to relate to Microsoft logging??

    Verbose mode causes the Command Center to display all the installation screens and prompts just like the installers do when run from the command line.
