Delay issue? - Resolved...THANKS!

So, I discovered I have a very slight delay issue when using Izotope Ozone 6 on the master buss with SONAR Platinum.  Ozone 6 has a delayed compensation button but it makes no difference if I have it set on (default) or off.  As soon as I remove Ozone 6 from the master buss the delay disappears.  The delay is just enough to really annoy me.  Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Hi. Sorry if this is obvious.. Have you tried the "PDC" button in SONAR's Control Bar?
Best of luck.

Don't use it while you are tracking. That's just the way it is with some plugins because they have to lookahead at the incoming audio to do what they do. That lookahead buffer is the delay you are experiencing. The delay is not relevant once you get to the mixing stage.

+1 What Dan said.  I try to do all my tracking before adding any plugins.  It may also help force me to get the takes closer to complete.

+1 what Dan and Ken said.
When I need to track (with OZ6 on my master buss), I shut off/disable the buss effects bins until I'm finished tracking.  Usually, that isn't long.  Then I can re initiate them.  This might be a little bit of a pain if you want to hear it closer to finished but it isn't a bad workaround.
Another thing is most mastering plug ins will have some sort of "delay" inherent to them.  Try to steer clear of them until you're ready for the mix stage. It'll save you some headaches.

Ya know, I thought about this some more and realized that I always turn off the mastering plug before tracking and that's why I never noticed the delay before.  In this particular case I was working on getting a good guitar tone and didn't even think about OZ6 being on.  Thanks for the help.
