Delay or latency using PX64

I an getting a delay or latency when using PX64 or reverb on a Trillian audio track. Has anyone else experienced delays when using cakewalk effects in the effects bin?
Thanks, Paul

Dont use those for recording, if you are. The best way to monitor with reverb when recording vocals is to get a cheap outboard reverb effect and a headphone amp that can route 2 different signals. oTher dry signal  to sonar and the riverbed signal to the singer. Or you can try another reverb that is easier on the PU and one that has no hidden buffers.

Make sure your latency is under 11ms round trip. So your ASIO buffer should be at 32, 64, 96 or 128 and your WDM slider should be under 5 secs.

Allot of those kind of plugins are for mixing, since they have some hidden buffers in them. Some plugins can be adjusted.
