Delayed Onset of Latency

Hey,
 
I've got a project or two that develop a very noticeable latency on VSTI's the longer the project is open.  Closing and restarting Sonar does not help but rebooting Windows does.  I've removed a few unused tracks and plug ins as well.  Any ideas on that?

HP Z220 Workstation I7 3770, 8 GB RAM, Windows 10, Sonar Platinum, RME Multiface II via PCIe, JBL 4326 w/sub, AvanTone MixCubes

    Length of time open? Even if doing nothing? Or number of times played/stopped? Number of vsts? Which vsts? If you've got more than 1 project with the same problem you should try and identify anything that's the same on both projects.
