Delayed reaction in Sonar

I just had to do a clean install of Windows and Sonar and I can't remember how to fix this issue:

When I click on the record icon in the track (or other buttons actually) there is a delay before it lights up. I remember there being a very easy fix but I can't remember what it was. I think it had something to do with the scrolling cursor...Any help is appreciated. Please respond to my email because I forget to check this sometimes. Thanks.

Press the Pause/Break key on your PC keyboard to toggle SONAR's CPU conservation mode.
