Delete Sonar X1 Setup Files in Firefox folder?

I was looking in my Mozilla Firefox program folder for something today, and noticed that a large 4.71 gig setup file for X1 is in there.  It's the first time I've seen the whole setup folder for a program end up in this Firefox program folder.  The sub-folders are Documentation, Install (with all the setup .bin files) and Utilities (the MP3 encoder files).

All of this was originally in my Download folder, prior to installation.  I've deleted those.  Now all of this in the Firefox folder looks like a duplicate - ?

I wouldn't mind reclaiming the disc space - Anyone think I shouldn't delete this--?

Perhaps you mistakenly saved downloaded set up files in default Firefox folder?

Just an idea....not sure what might have happened there.....

Thanks for the reply, thegeek - That was a good theory, but the download files definitely went to my Download folder also.  Only this morning did I finally delete them (after saving to disc).  These folders in the Firefox program folder are duplicates - It has to be OK to delete them.  I just can be overly cautious when it comes to doing something that could mysteriously disturb a program.  I guess I'll just delete these, reclaim the 4.7 gigs - and if my X1 is somehow screwed up as a result, I'll re-install.  I'm sure it'll be fine.  Peculiar though, for sure!

Definitely won't disturb the program - the X1 install will not even be aware they are there. As long as you saved the files away for later install, no need for duplicates. You can re download from Cake site later as well.

Thanks for the reassurance, Cornieleous - I get in paranoid moods re: software sometimes, and it's silly.  After writing earlier, I deleted these odd, apparently duplicated files, and of course X1 didn't blink, it works fine.  And like you said, even if I ever manage to mess X1 up, I can return to my download page.

OK, so this was a silly thing - thanks guys for the help.

What about the folders that the install files (downloaded version) expand to?
Can those be deleted as well?
