Delete Synth?

Hi;
 
I remember in Sonar X3 when I deleted a synth track I also had to go to the browser and delete the synth too if I wanted to reclaim the memory it used.  I took notice in CakeLab the only synth listing in the browser is where you can select them to insert.  So, in CakeLab if I delete the synth track am I also deleting the synth or is the synth in some other directory if I want to delete it to reclaim the memory?

You are deleting the synth as well when you delete the track

Be cautious about the " Delete associated tracks " switch when you delete synth. You must un-assign any midi track assigned to the synth when using this - or - you will delete the assigned midi track. This has bugged me for awhile. I think you should never lose a source data track through this dialogue. This should just delete the generated audio tracks from the track view - You can instead REPLACE synth from the synth rack to keep from chancing losing your MIDI track.

I always uncheck the delete associated tracks because it has "got me" too many times.
