Deleting Projects

I know this has been discussed but I cannot find the thread. If I want to delete project XYZ, I have to delete the Cakewalk cwp file and the associated audio. Is there a fast way to delete it all at once? I have a LOT of old versions to get rid of and everyone has tons of audio that goes along with it. Unfortunately, I think the way this works is that if I saved XYZ in a folder called Songs (for example), the audio would be in a folder called Songs/Audio. I obviously don't want to kill that entire audio folder--just the audio associated with the project I am deleting. Any guidance? Thanks.

I just delete the project folder. If you don't use per-project folders, this is just another reason to get re-organized. In your example, the folder called Songs, would have a folder called called XYZ which contains the cwp file(s) associated with XYZ and a folder called Audio which contains all the audio associated with the XYZ project. In other words:
\Songs toplevel folder containing all songs (aka projects)
\Songs\XYZ a project folder, contains XYZ.cwp, the autosaves, versions and possibly XYZ-tracking.cwp XYZ-mix1.cwp...XYZ-mixn.cwp and XYZ-final.cwp
\Songs\XYZ\Audio the audio files for XYZ

You can re-org your current setup by using "Save As" to build a proper directory tree of projects. BTW, it does not have to be as shallow as the example above. It is possible to create a tree as deep as you want, just make sure that the last folders are project folders with an audio subdir. For example: \Songs
    \Songs\CD1
    \Songs\CD1\Track1
    \Songs\CD1\Track1\Audio
    \Songs\CD1\Track2
    \Songs\CD1\Track2\Audio

In this example Track 1 and 2 are the per-project folders for two tracks on CD1.

Well, I regret now how things are set-up, but as it is, there is a folder for each album, and the songs are in the album folder. I find it very frustrating the way Cakewalk has this and apparently once you set up a certain way, that's the way it is forever for that project. So, I guess my only choice is to copy the "good" versions to a different folder and then delete the old folder.

I believe the fastest way is to use win explorer.
typically the projects audio is locaded inside the cwp directory with the song so only one folder needs to be deleted to remove the project from your HD

the way sonar defaults is to C\cakewalkprojects\ and all your songs are listed in here.
inside each folder is your project and an audio folder.
im sure you already know this, sorry if im being a little to bland here.

im a little confused about how your projects are being saved.
but if you used the default, its easy.
