Can't be done (delete). You can edit all your posts (one at time to say "Deleted") but posts/threads are ONLY deleted by the mods for violations.

Would you consider editing all your posts with violations?

Cant bother mods with deleting thread's / post's
But a cleanup would be nice..

In the Steinberg forum, you can delete any post you make, thought it would be nice
to have this option here on this forum as well.

Alrighty then... just have to say deleted on every thread / post's i made so far then
Would it be considered as spamming   !

I wish I could delete most of my posts. I jump on here with random thoughts which expose the fact I possess no thoughts. I Am convinced of my "morooness" now more than ever! This forum has proved to me that I do have dainbramage and I Am living proof you can lead a donkey to water, you may even get him to drink it but after it's all done, he's still gonna be a jackass no matter what you do!

You should be able to delete posts as long as there are no replies to it. Also, as soon as someone replies to a post, you should not be able to edit it. These are quickly becoming standard convention in Internet forum land.

It's a simple setting that the mods chose not to give you.  I like to randomly go back and change the content on my older posts just to mess with those that like to dip back into time and revive really ancient threads.  Hehe...

    Mooch,

I want the message and meaning of the song to be clear. If you sang it they would shut the song off too quick to allow that to happen . Sorry buddy. When I want to hear something that will make the listeners ears bleed you will be the first one I call.

i`m hoping that apart from a few indiscretions my posts are ok as not being an "anonymous" poster i am worried some google search from a "New Member" will come back and bite me in the arse with some virus and i will be blogged to death. but that`s life on the internet!

Deleting a post or thread after it's been answered would be confusing. Should you then have the right to delete the answer as well? In the middle of a thread it's good enough to change the text to something like :" Nevermind.." or "Deleted by poster", but deleting the opening post after it has dozens of answers would be unfair to the ones who bothered to write.

I do agree that it should be made possible to delete your own thread  as long as it has no answers.
