Delta 66... Old vs. new?

I have a Delta 66 sound card that is 8-10 years old that I have used in various pc's during the years.  Are the Delta 66 cards that M-Audio now sell any better than the old ones?

I don't know.  i"ve had my Delta 44 for 5 years and it just recently had a problem that I had to replace it.  I suspect that the design has not changed in several years, but some components have probably changed as the years go on and different manufacturers are supplying components. in other words - the same components but made by different mfgs.  but I seriously doubt the design has changed in several years.

Probably the same. Always cheaper for a manufacturer to just order re-runs from the OEMs that make the components ...in this case, the printed circuit board with all the components installed.

I think if they upgraded certain components which provided better sonic performance, then they'd probably stick it in a new box and market it as a new product.
