Demo mode a result of unexpected command center logout

Started up SPlat as usual. I do have a new computer with a recent install using my allowance of a second computer. Everything was fine all week. Today it went to demo mode until I logged back into the command center after it mysteriously logged me out and then was fine. My concern is that one day when the servers are down I wonder if we get logged out of the command center and then end up in demo mode. Any thoughts?

Sure it's a valid concern (At least it is to those of us who have been pointing out that issues like yours happen all the time).

If you read the CW announcement FAQ, they plan to provide a permanent authorization to all users -- so we won't need server activation after that.  Of course, that means no more login, so either we won't be able to use Command Center anymore, or we will, but CC will only be looking at our content folders (and not the CW server).

Either way, it's advisable to archive all of your CW products now.  You should already have the installers in your downloads folder, but make sure you get the serial/reg codes for each product from your account as well.

And I'll point out once again. There is no 2 computer limit. See if you can find anything that say as such. The rule is that only you, the registered owner is allowed to use the software. Someone from CW said it's fine to install on multi machines but they would possibly keep an eye on anyone who over did it.  Well I have Splat on 7 computers and all say they are Legal and only one of mine went into demo mode and that was W10 updates causing that.  I recommend if you want to avoid this issue build a DAW and use W7 or 8.1

This is version on my.  W7 old laptop which is from March I think, I only use it to help on the forum. I open it every day and it's always on line. And as you see I haven't opened CCC since March.
