Demo track
Hi guys,
Really sorry for not being on here for the past month or 2. New job and writing a drum demo meant that I've not had time to put my ears on your latest tracks.
I was asked to write a demo for an up and coming drum program.

Anyway I'm after feedback on the mix. Are the drums the right volume and so on..
Many thanks,
Gus

Hi Gus,
I've listened to your ProDrummer demo.
The only thing I would have done different is perhaps put in some examples of a few more different styles perhaps. I'm not sure how I would have done that though... Perhaps a few more demos are required on top of this one.
Sounded good to me though, otherwise

Sounded good to me, Gus, though I thought the drums could have been a bit louder in the mix.

I'd bring the kit up more...if this was tune it would be a good mix...but if your trying to sell a kit program to more kit I can hear the better...your track is really good...just not really good at highlighting the kit....in fact a times there so much going on with the tune the kit gets lost a bit...
great stuff tho....

Yes, thanks guys. Bring the drums up for this version. And do a rewrite to highlight the drums more. Thanks for the feedback chaps.

Don't get me wrong, I like syncopated and tasty tom fills as much as the next guy, but your music outshines these drums by a fair bit. Great guitar work.
cheers,
-Tom

Thanks Tom,
I'm not a drummer :) I have been redoing it, pulling back on the music to leave more room for the drums.
Thanks for listening.
