    Hey Lee
WOW . . .are you Dylan's kid!  I'm digin the live vibe of the mix. My favorite part is the wha wha/volume up and down sound of the electirc guitar sitting in the background. NICE!  Lee, what is your vocal chain because it sounds soooo clean on my end?  KUDOS!

Yea this is very Dylanesque and you could change the lyric to Dylan vists me everynight, lol.

This is really nice, the recording is superb, so warm.  I think this has to do with the quality of your acoustic.

I like the slide guitar part, all the lead lines remind a bit of David Gilmour.

Nice change up, from what else is going on, on the song forum.

I even like the noises at the end of the song, it gives a really live feel.

    Peace Ben

Thank you sir!   We use Mackie pre's going into an ART compressor into protools through a bluebird blue mic.  Then I top it off with a bit of digital compression and some Renaissance Reverb from the WAVES bundle

Thank you sir.  The acoustic/vocal was in essence done on the first take, worked, so we used it....that's why it has that nice live, loose feel.  Appreciate the kind words....

not my style of music, but dylanesque none the less. Clean recording and loving the loose live laid back feel to it.

As others have said, this is a nice acoustic number with a Dyanesque vocal.  Sometimes simplicity is not that easy, but you pulled it off quite well.  My only question, from your comments, is: did you do any of this song in Sonar?  I hoped you at least mixed it in Sonar because most of us hear Protools songs everyday from radio and TV, and we're not here to promote Protools.

Not my cuppa. I drink coffee and Dylan is Green Tea. But.. it sounds great.

Nice and loose, cool song. I could imagine this playing over the end credits of a very dark movie.

    Beautifully recorded.

What mics did you use and where was it recorded?

There's a little moment at the very end (about 4:20) where it sounds like you're getting out of your chair to press the space bar but apart from that the recordinig is flawless.   (actually it probably is a chair or something, there are other instances scattered throughout, but they don't detract )

I get bored real easy but I listened to the whole thing. Yeah, it is Dylanesque- do you have brushes, piano, anything else on any other tracks?

Jame's soundtrack reference is spot on.  This has a haunting feel.  The guitar doesn't sound as crisp as it could, how are you recording it?

    Very nice song.

Used bluebird blue mic. And no brushes or piano, all guitar, bass, drums and vocals. And this one was very live, captured quick in the moment. Originally this song had a slightly faster tempo, but it wasn't working like I hoped, so switched it up and worked nicely (I think). So there are some noises captured in the room (studio on 23rd street in NYC). Appreciate the feedback, very helpful indeed. Lee
