Devil's Bed

I left a comment today so I feel compelled to put up or shut up;
So, here it is Devil's Bed.
Need some help with the Hammond, but no excuses.

Not my style at all, but it's quite well done.  Everything seems to be mixed very well, good clear performances and I like your voice texture.  Song sounds catchy too.  Nice job.

Very clear mix Thomas! I'd suggest taming the hi-hat just a bit. Otherwise, I think this is well done. Nice playing, BTW!

Thanks to all for listening and your suggestions/critiques.
Its very interesting how each of us as producer/engineer "hear" things a bit different.
A buddy of mine used to pull the faders down and say "you mix it".
He just wanted to hear the tune from a different perspective.
    Take care all,

Like the track and the mix.    As you say, the Hammond could use some work but really well done overall.   The percussion adds a nice touch and the guitar playing/tone is superb.

Very cool arrangement...  it almost has something like a latin-lounge rock vibe.

I would also like to hear a bit more "room" on the vocal, and perhaps a little less hi-end sharpness on the left side guitar, but those are minor nits.    Cool song, I like it.

this is great - really slinky.
Great production choices - I actually love the dry vocal and the percussion is great

Very cool. Odd and quirky but still right down there in the blues groove. I like it a lot. Love the "open space" and clean production. Lyrics are perfect. Nice arrangement - simple but effective. Great job. I like the vocal a lot as well - soulful and neo-blues.

Thank you all for your kind words.
I actually tend to get a bit "heavy-handed" with the delay and verb on vocals.
Evidently I over compensated (under compensated?).

Slow fire. I like it a lot.

Lost the vocal right before the chorus just a wee bit.
