Diamond Mine - How's the mix?

First time mixing on 8 inch speakers...Yamaha hs8's. I feel like it's one of my better mixes.
What do you think?

Very catchy...  And with a nicely authentic/old skool vibe and mix that works well.   Your material is definitely unique around these parts!

Loved everything about it: the song itself, singing, guitar playing, and mix were all great. No suggestions to make. (That's probably a good thing!)

I'm trying to spend a little more time in this forum, listening to some good, homegrown music!

Montezuma, I think the mix sounds good. It's clean, centered in the stereo field but still has some width to it, and the vocals are clear and up front. I think if I were to change one thing, at least for an experiment, is to drop the vocals down maybe about 1-2dB.  Take it with a grain of salt though, my method of mixing is still a source of constant frustration and I'm ass deep in the electronic genre. :-)

Nice beats and vocals... lively song due to its even pace. Good one. Well mixed too.

That's a catchy tune - I liked your vocal and the guitar solo - nicely done.  The mix sounded fine to me.
