"in the time of monkanzees i was a chimpy hustle back phat stack dope grinchy grinchy " Any song with BOTH the words "chimpy" and "grinchy?" Are worth their salt IMO.

Daren, this is something of a departure for you. IOW, it doesn't sound like AIC. The vocals are even louder than usual. Regardless, I'm one of your biggest fans, and this makes me happy. All I can say is that it seems to be lacking a little in "warmth", as if the upper mids were scooped out a little too much. I have that problem with my own mixes, and I'm starting to get a grasp of this. Otherwise, this is stellar.

Slightly mental as expected. It wouldn't be you otherwise. Sounds good. It is very "clean" so as Lynn mentioned there could be some hi-mid scoop happening. Still a unique take on a unique topic.

What's in the fridge? Yeah throw some of that in, too. This is an interesting stew, and it works. Nice handling on the low end. You have lots of energy down there. It could have easily sunk into the mud, but sounds very clean. The high mids might be a little scooped, but somehow I think it fits the mix and the feel. This was an enjoyable departure from normalcy. I like it.
