Did X1 QF 244 Cause the ZedR16 to JUMP $500

I dont see any reason for the price increase. Hasnt it been $2000 for lord knows how long?  Figures when your ready, ya get hit.

    that's more expensive than I can afford so I haven't been even tracking their price!  I'd love to have one, but not gonna happen unless I win the lottery.

    hmmm...I've heard you actually have to buy tickets first, tho.  bummer.

    Still no luck researching but Im sure Sweetwater will match the others $1999 pricing on it. Funny once X1 ahd some adjustment patches and everyone started raving on it, the price immediately jumped on their site. This is the only place I will get items from because of their warranty and location to me (1.5 hour drive)

    The answer is sadly the GS R24 has now been released which is its bigger brother.

    Its a fantastic console 24 faders, 2 valve channels built in, motorized faders and a meter bridge, its basically a phenomenal amount of kit, for basically £7500 uk So i guess $14000 around that anyway.

    All the mags will be talking about it and reviewing it in the next month or so, so they figured lot of people will see that go I WANT, then realize that they can't afford it, so they look at the next one down in the range R16, and figure hey that's reasonable when compared to the GS24, its like a 5th of the price and all I lose is 8 channels and motorized faders, so they buy that.
