Really nice piece ! I like the build up in the arrangement. Well produced and mixed (a touch more high end on the kick to cut through the mix a bit more, maybe...?) Really cool vocals : ) I enjoyed this! keep'm coming! Regards, Daniel

This is very well done John! As a personal aside, I had hoped would get a bit more energetic at some point, but it never did. Besides my personal preferences though, the vocals and instrumentation were well done and tastefully executed. Your mix was excellent as well. Great job! Regards, Dan

John, this is a joy to listen to. This should be on the radio and Itunes top ten list. Your terrific voice reminds me of several great singers, but is uniquely yours. Keep 'em coming.

Hehe, thanks Tom. :) Yeah, i grew up in the 80s to that kind of music. It's both a blessing and a curse. I've said before, sometimes i wish i could sound a little bit more modern. The music we grow up to really shapes us.

Oh, I really dig this! I could hear this as a scene-ender in a British or Canadian drama. Love the octave play with your vocals. The voice quality is amazing! Very professional in every regard. Some of the best work I've heard so far on the board (that being said, I haven't been here in a while). Congrats! No edits to suggest. Yeah, it's THAT good/complete. M

Agree with above comments - great singing and tasteful harmonies! I enjoy the way you build rythms. Also agree with Dcumpian, the song would benefit from some sort of sudden brake, shift of direction or any other few seconds change.

I don't know. I like the change at 3 min. Wonderful arragenment. This IS a bit eighties, but then I personally think the best music came from that decade.

Now THIS I can totally get into, being an 80s music fan myself. I disagree with the comment that "it never picks up", because this kept me interested the whole way through. The vocals are absolutely stunning and the way it slowly builds throughout the song makes this something I would want to listen to a lot.
While it has that 80s vibe, it also has a modern synth pop sound as well. Ever hear of VNV Nation? If not, you need to get onto Spotify right now and look them up. They are a modern synth pop sound and you remind me a bit of them.

Thank you very much for all your kind words Gregg. Sure im familiar with VNV Nation, overall i feel that they have a more EBM/ Industrial touch than i have. But i see the comparison as a compliment. :)

Yeah, They are more EBM, but they are also more "simple" in that they don't over produce and they don't use a ton of instruments. Usually just drums and a single synth or two. A lot of synthpop has like 30 tracks all going at once. That's what I like about yours. It only uses what is needed.

That is nice... so clear and present. 80's for sure, and yeah, definitely a bit of Howard Jones happening, though for me it's a bit more modern (even though it still has that 80's feel). You seem to have this feel nailed down.
