    If the table is periodic, how do you know you can put something on it? LOL

    Plutonium was named after the “planet” Pluto and there is a movement to get it removed from the periodic table along with Barium.

    I served on a committee to get plutonium (chemical symbol Pu) and barium (chemical symbol Ba) removed … the name of the committee was:

    The Barium and Plutonium Independent Subcommittee for the Unification of Naming Atoms and Molecules to Underscore Scientific Integrity and Nomenclature Greatness

    We actually went by the difficult to pronounce acronym: BAPUISUNAMUSING
