Differences between MC7 and older versions.

Even though I have used MC 2 for years, I'm finding MC7 a bit of a challenge. So much has changed. The 'help' documentation should be useful. But sometimes it is not.
I find that some sections of the screen, buttons, tabs etc are not indexed and even a search throws up either nothing or a multitude of subjects.
And even when the screenshot in 'help' matches exactly what I see on my own screen, it instructs you to 'press/click' this or that when it isn't even there. A typical example is Clip Properties. It tells me to click on it, when viewing the Mixstrip, but where the hell is it? I find out several hours later, while looking for something totally unrelated, that I can get it using 'shift-I'. <sigh>
Then I export a wav to convert to mp3 only to find it won't work. Why? Because it exported as 32-bit. Who knew? It wasn't obvious that it was exporting as 32-bit.
There's lots more but I don't have the time nor the inclination to go into them right now as I'm busy searching yet again for something 'hidden'. :-)

Since you are coming from MC2 all the way up to MC7, lets just say, that's a big jump in technology.

Please take the time to watch the Tutorial videos, as many of your questions can be easily solved by watching them.

You will find them here:   http://www.cakewalk.com/CakeTV/Music-Creator  you might also wish to take the time to watch some of the MC6 videos as well.

So, from MC2 to MC7, there's a lot to learn that's new.  Take your time, and when you run into problems, write out a clearly stated question with as much information as you can provide, and we'll do our best to help.

Yes OK. That's fair enough.
When all else fails I shall look for answers here.

Cheers!
