Differences of the download version and the retail version

Thinking about upgrading but still uncertain which route to take, still not very clear on differences of the download version vs. the retail version.  One is the manual... is the version that's included with the download the same as the one packaged with the retail version?  Also, does the download version include Guitar Rig and the full version of Dimension Pro?

    I don't think there is any difference.  Being as the pdf manual is almost 2000 pages I highly doubt the boxed version has a printed manual.  The download does take forever though.

    I know the retail version comes packaged with a printed manual from owning prior versions of Sonar.  What I don't know is, is the manual that's a part of the Sonar X1 upgrade download the same thing as the printed manual or is it the 1850 page reference manual?

    In the download there is the 1850 page manual and a 56 page user guide which I would imagine is the one that is in the box.

    I got 2 little books with my retail upgrade. One with a list of the shortcuts and a quick start guide. I just didn't want to download all of that data!!!!
