'Digging The Roots'
All new version of a track I did some years ago. Wanted to see if I could still play stuff like this, so I made it faster this time https://soundcloud.com/jyemz/digging-the-roots Many thanks to Ed Kocol for his excellent bass - on the Rickenbacker!

Sounded like you played it just fine and haven't lost the touch. Even though it used a blues riff, IMO it has more of a rock flavor to it. I'll attribute that to your fluid guitar playing. Enjoyable tune and well done! Dean

doot! blown away again on the song forum, and this time it is you. awesome playing, love the change at 1:50. I could see this as the backing piece for an extreme motor sports video. You are good. I am honored to have listened to this, now I will go and listen to it again and imagine motorcycles flying through the air, and mud trucks wamping through the swamp. sweeeet Jesse Q. Screed

Yup, furthuring my position that Mr. "g" (if that is indeed his real name) produces some tasty and skillful riffs and/or licks. The Rickie (a-HURM Bappie) is soundin' nice on this too. Would say it could use a nice solo over top those chord/mood changes about a third way through the song... but nicely done. :-)

uh-haww-hawww-HAWWW! I liked the main riff plenty! Musicianship shows all the way. That was a very interesting interlude breakdown section, and for me I found myself thinking it would be a decent song all by itself. It's a little incongruous in mood, I think, presented as it is between the southern rock bookends. But opinions are like elbows. That mix was very high quality, everything came across clearly. -Tom

Well done! The playing, guitar and bass, is most excellent. I would turn up the drum buss a bit if I were mixing it, just me. T

Very awesome track. Kick isn't punching through on the louder parts, might consider boosting a bit. Around 1:44 in that quieter section the kick is OK volume-wise, but then it gets lost again. Very enjoyable listen though. Had a few listens as it is way too short and too much fun:) Regards
