Dim Pro and Rapture in Sonar 7-8.5 full versions?
Hi. I was wondering if the full versions of Dim Pro, Rapture and Z3TA are included in Sonar 7 - 8 Producer? I was looking at the products on the Virtual Instruments Page and it mentioned this with Dim Pro. On the Sonar 8.5 page it says includes Dim Pro - for Producer editon and Rapture LE. Can Sonar 8 and 8.5 get the Rapture LE upgrade? It mentions 7 on a sales page. Thanks.

Sonar 8.5 Producer Edition includes: - DimPro (full version)
- Rapture LE
- Z3TA+ (full version)
If you want to upgrade Rapture to the full version you'll need to purchase a separate upgrade.

A quick search brought up LE versions for Dim Pro and Rapture in Sonar 7, Z3Ta seems to be the full one.

I have Sonar 7 Producer. Z3Ta is the full version. Rapture & DimPro are the LE versions. I have since bought the full versions of Rapture & DimPro and they are rather good.

Can Dim Pro and Rapture export audio files and/or edit them? Or is Sonar required to do the mixing and mastering? These products look like what I want for a computer. Thanks.

These are soft synth instruments--they do not edit audio files. The microhosts that allow them to run as standalone hosts can record the audio output to a file. But the most flexibility is achieved when running the soft synths in a host like SONAR.

Thank you for the clarification. So basic options when needed, 95% of the time run though Sonar. Good.
