Dim Pro re-install issues

Hi

I just had to re-install all software following a C-drive and OS upgrade. All Cake software working OK except Dim Pro which won't allow registration despite the code being entered under Run as Administrator as stand alone and from within Sonar. DP shows in PIM and appears in synth rack but won't play.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Sounds like a need for a support call - I know you are in the UK, but this sounds like something they could sort out for you.

I had Dim Pro registration issues in the past and they got me straightened out over the phone in just a few minutes.

Sorry I don't have anything else to offer you on this,

    Thanks Bob and Jonesey

    Worthy suggestions both!

Messing about with registry is pretty much off-piste for me (especially with the instructions referring to a different OS) so I might take the less fear-inspiring option of waiting on a response from Tech Support :-)

I'm relieved to hear that it's not just me that's had Dim Pro install issues, though.

I haven't used Win 8, but I'm pretty sure the mechanics of editing the registry will be exactly the same.

Provided you back up your registry before making any edits and you follow the instructions to a tee, you won't go far wrong.

It's a bit like taking a cold swim - the first time you do it, you'll be nervous as hell just dipping a toe into the water.

The more times you do it, you get more & more used to it
