DimLE Device Chains broke by Sonar8 update: P5 DimLE_P ?

I recently tried loading some device chains from the SD_LE_Pack for DimLE and they can no longer find DimLE. DimLE was re-installed with a Sonar update which replaced the DimLE from P5 and this apparently broke the device chains. Is there any way to correct this so the chains load correctly ?

DimLE does load as an intact VST into both P5 and Sonar, its just that P5 is looking for its own version of DimLE apparently. In some of the error msgs there is a reference to a DimLE_P ??

So, in the absence of advice I decided to remove and re-install my Project5. I verified licensing info on my customer page. Checked I still had the installation file ( and the update the 2.5.1, etc ) which I did. Uninstalled P5 ( I'm still looking for an un-install for the demo P5 version which has demo dxi effects still lingering on my system unfortunately ).

Clean install and P5 no longer runs and informs me that this is a beta version and has expired!!!

I have both license and reg code ready to go but no prompt to validate installation.

    VERY BAD!!!

When will Sonar throw similar errors on next update to a newer program name/version. Generally, TTS/CW has been pretty good about this sort of thing over the years thus my disappointment. While P5 is no longer supported I'd expect it to re-install to state of initial purchase ( particularly as I'm dealing with a Sonar update interaction ).

I am in touch with Customer Service but am very upset and hope that re-installation from an image backup isn't needed.

I suggest extreme caution with any existing P5 installations.

    Quick correction.

P5 itself does appear to be running and the expired Beta msgs may just be related to the DimLE conflicts. Still checking system. Oddly, system defaults appear to have been preserved ( VST target path and installs, browser favorites, etc ) suggesting some ini files and registry entries aren't removed/reset by an uninstall ( for better or worse ).
