DimPro: Alternate path?

After transfering all my Sonar projects to my new computer, old projects with DimPro would not open correctly ("ERROR: Error uncompressing program data. Program load failed"). I finally figured out it was path related. Projects were created on my old computer on the C:\ drive. My new PC has dual boot and Sonar, DimPro (and samples) are now on the E:\ drive. That's the way the DAW company set it up, don't know why. Projects open, but all dim programs are blank. New projects work fine.

Other than opening all instances of DimPro in old projects and reassigning the programs (assuming I can remember them) is there any way to set a secondary path for DimPro?

No work around that I found.
I had to open all projects and reassign the programs.

Try looking at This link I found it doing a google search for symbolic link in windows. It may allow you to link the dir that your old project are looking at to the new folder on the different drive.

fr example when you go to c:\the dim pro directory it iwll actualy go to e:\the pim pro directory

I'm having the same problem. The only difference was I just changed where the multisamples were on my harddrive when I reformatted. The .prog files are still in the same place. This is crazy.

Try this information: Expression Engine Multisample Relocation. There is also tweakDimension if you are running on Windows XP (not tested on Vista and doesn't work with Dimension LE).
